King of the Midwest Sprints Rescheduled for May 14th at Lawrenceburg Speedway

Lawrenceburg Speedway’s “King of the Midwest Sprints” race, which had been postponed due to rain on April 30th, has been rescheduled and will now be run on Saturday May 14th. As an added bonus Lawrenceburg promoter Dave Rudisell has bumped up the already increased purse by nearly $2,000 more, with the winner now taking home $2,500.

The cross promotion with Kokomo Speedway continues so if a driver wins the “King of the Midwest Sprints” race Saturday night ($2,500 to win), and can then win the “King of Kokomo” race Sunday night ($2,500 to win), they will earn a bonus of $1,000 – making their total take for the weekend $6,000!

I know a mod racer just waiting on his motor for a sprinter too. He was often fastest on the track in a mod. I think he'll do real well.

I cannot guarantee I'll be there for at least another few weeks. But rest assured by Sprint Week I'll be there to get my DD sister hugs. Which I did get last year after missing a year.

I've been very lucky to make 2 and 1/2 shows of the 4 so far. Plan to hit some other tracks as well later in the year

Used to hitting 30-50 shows a year. last two have been less than 10 with last year a all time low on 7
