For some of us older race fans the name Jan and Dick Breadlove rings true of some great people doing large things for sprint car racing/ or racing in general. Jan & Dick were big in H.A.R.F. as well as the local racing scene.
Jan needs our prayers right now as that filthy C. word is tearing her apart, plese pray for the entire family at this time and let them know we care.
I will try to get an address so we can send cards and letters to help during this tough time.
Thank everyone in advance for praying for this great lady

I lived next door to Dick and Jan for over 20 years. I'm also part of the old fossil group that sets on the back stretch. I will tell you it was an honor to have these people as part of my extended family. I attended many races with them and continue to do so with Dick today. I have to tell a funny story about Jan.
If you have ever set next to Jan or god forbid in front of Jan on a race night, you knew you were in trouble. If someone on the track even remotely looked like they were getting upside down, Jan would grab your leg or Kick you if you were in front of her. She would yell real loud and grab your knee with a death grip. She about killed me the first night I set with her. I had no warning and bang she about beat me to death. Jan hasn't been coming much in the last few years but I do miss those days. I didn't realize how much fun it was til that stuff is ripped from you. RIP Jan.
