Might help to explain what your talking about. Next year? BOSS season is over.

Its a non points race that got added to the Steel City Stampede deal months ago after the B and A Main got rained out at the BOSS show. Instead of a rain date, they added a complete show, heats on Friday and A Main on Saturday to the year end deal. Its only a $1000 to win as well. Sucks all around for the BOSS guys really, especially the 16 the MADE the A Main once already and didn't get a dime and now have a cut rate purse for double the pit pass and a 2 day trip

Maybe everybody should just stay home. That's peanuts for a purse, especially for two days and the xtra expense for the teams of spending the night.

The agreement was Lernerville was to use BOSS rules and format and pay the standard BOSS A-Main purse. There would be no heat race or bonus awards though. I literally JUST NOW found out they are advertising $1,000 to win so obviously a phone call is about to be made.

Keep in mind drivers were given the option to make the show up and it was almost a unanimous "no" vote.

When I gave them permission to use the BOSS name in this event, we never intended for all the BOSS teams from Indiana and Ohio to make this trip after the points are over. This is a "fun" deal that gives the PA teams the opportunity to get more laps in wingless cars. We get supported very well over that way and there are a lot of teams eager to try this without our BOSS heavy hitters in the lineup.

Wow... thought this might have been a chance to see some wingless guys before February..sounds like it's not worth making the drive now. I mean Ports running an outlaw show and that is much closer to home. Thanks for the update and info.
