I woke up early today to let the dogs out and play a bit on the computer. About 15 minutes later I get a call from my niece. She says the Paramedics rushed her dad to the hospital and he is unresponsive and the prognosis is not good. It was about 5 minutes later that she called again to say he is gone.

This was not totally unexpected. He had been in poor health for the past few years.

Ed bought the first SLR camera in the family and was quite a good photographer in his own right. He was my inspiration to get an SLR of my own and start taking racing photos. He was probably the most laid back of the three brothers and probably had the best heart of all of us.

Sorry for your loss, got up in the morning of Mar 10 this yr found my wife gone, sad yes but I'm glad for the time we had together. The memories you have are a treasure to keep close to your heart. Yeah the hurt comes every so often but that's part of life.
