Why would the two groups, AVSS and MustSee both schedule races on the same night 60 miles apart on the same interstate? Can't these groups work together a little bit scheduling wise? Otherwise they'll end up ruining pavement sprint car racing. Each group had 12 cars on Saturday. Really guys?

It has turned into a pissing contest between the 2 groups. It will ultimately ruin payment racing. How so I know??? Been on both sides of this fence.

Don is screwing up drag racing now. As a fan of the wing pavement racing. They need to make one group or they are done. The two things that seem to come up with why they want two clubs is tires and travel. It has gone way down this year as far as car counts in the Michigan races.

Car counts are down everywhere. I'd say the average for either series is probably 10-12 cars for the season.

Furthermore the racing hasn't been impressive either. For instance, Pierce qualified at like 123mph last night while the 12th car qualified at 100 flat or something around there. There were only 3, maybe 4 cars that were maybe competitive enough to win at Baer Field. I'm sure Anderson had a similar story.

At least if both series could hash out some sort of deal there would not only be a better turnout but there would also be more competitive racing all over the track from front to back.

Couple weeks ago at Auto City we had 22 nonwing cars that checked in to a great action packed night. Sounds like next year there will be more pavement races for the mts series. But Joe does a really good job working on events that are on off nights.

It's been an on going problem over years between racing clubs, why there is not a gathering around Dec among all these groups to hammer out a schedule I don't know. It would benefit clubs, promoters & fans. All can pay a fee to cover cost of this, just doesn't make sense, it's the promoters & fans suffer
