Summer Sizzler Modified Series week is HERE!

Only 3 more days until the first leg of the Summer Sizzler Modified Series! Action will kick off at Paducah International Raceway in Paducah, KY featuring the largest modified purse in recent history for the famed speedplant owned by NASCAR superstars, Tony Stewart, Dale Jr. and Kenny Schrader. Mods will be battling for $1,000 to win and $100 to start the feature event. The 29th will also be FAN APPRECIATION night at PIR with $5.00 general admission prices for adults! The cars and stars of the Summer Sizzler Modified Series will then venture north 69.21 miles on Saturday for the 2nd stop of the series at Western KY Speedway in Nebo, KY. This stop will see the modifieds battle for $2,000 to win after a single lap qualifying session.
The Coble family speedway will see the 2nd largest payout for the modified of 2008 for this Saturday night event. Wrapping up week one of the Summer Sizzler Modified Series will be the famed Southern Indiana track in Haubstadt, IN known as Tri-State Speedway just 64.82 miles north of WKS. This racey 1/4 speedway is known for some of the best side by side action for the modifieds in the country. The Midwest Sprint Car Series will headline the Summer Sizzler Modified Series at the Tom and Loris Helfrich promoted speedway.
