MSD Tech question

Currently running a 372 Chevy with a 12LT and a 8105 points box. Car is running very poorly until it gets to higher RPM, lets say around 7000. I took the mag and box off to send to Magtech to see if there could possibly be something going wrong inside. While removing, I realized the points box had no ground wire and it is mounted in the rubber isolaters.
Anyone ever experience this type of problem and could the ground play into it? |

More than likely grounding on msd stuff is a non issue, ran them with ground wires and without. Send it to http://www.electrimotion.com
Half the money as mag tech for service and most of the top racers are sending their msd stuff to him. Even nhra guys like John force. |
