Leary's been KT's Nemisis at the Burg and it was setting up to be another one of those senarios with Leary dogging KT in heavy traffic, Not half a car between em in heavy traffic and T-Mez trying every nook and cranny to get around both of them. This before the last yellow as all three could have been under the same blanket for about four laps.
After the last restart KT kinda drove way I think Tmez already had second or got it shortly after the restart. T Mez was trying areas of the track nobody was hitting. and finished second from his sixth starting spot. Coondog found something in the middle the last couple laps and nixed Learys bid for the podium. Cottle drove a solid fifth!
Was hoping to see Grant and Moffatt up there vying for top five or better but they both started deep and got in the same spin cycle having to go to the rear.
There for awhile it was some of the closest racing between three cars I've seen anywhere for several laps.
Moffatt and Grant started 8th and 9th. Not that deep in a 27 car field. Anyways thanks to Dave Rudisell for a smooth racy track all night long! A lot of fun racing hard from, 22nd to 15th. Andretti Started back there with me and made it to 12th too. Once it got rubbered down it was a lot harder to make passes, but still a lot of fun! Thanks to all the Fans that came out last night!!
