Only IRS Points Race Today is at Sycamore

The Illini Racing Series will be competing on the dirt at Sycamore Speedway tonight (Saturday June 6, 2015). Points towards the overall season championship and the dirt track championship will be awarded for two heats and a feature at Sycamore. No points will be awarded at any other track today.

The special IRS/STARS Grundy County Championship competition will not begin until the club’s NEXT appearance at the Morris Illinois paved oval on Saturday June 13, 2015. We regret any confusion that has occurred on this matter. The IRS has great respect for the Wilda family but must honor its contractual obligations ahead of any other concerns.

It looks to be a great night for racing and we look forward to seeing a full field of IRS dirt cars at Sycamore Speedway. Any questions on the IRS points system should be directed to the IRS officers.
