A few updates on the USAC guys who went over to Kutztown (Action Track USA). Brady Bacon was running 3rd or 4th when he wrecked in the SpeedSTR feature. Which was in the first few laps. Dave Darland started 25th-26th in the SpeedSTR feature and was up to 6th when he went up in smoke. (Radiator hose I believe). Bacon qualified and finished somewhere around 15th-17th in the wingless 600 micro feature. (they had somewhere around 45 micro's last night). Windom was in a 600 micro as well and he started mid pack and ended up right outside the top 5. Landon Simon started pole in his heat in a 600 micro but he told me his throttle stuck a few laps into the heat and he fell back to 7th. Had to run the B and only ended up finishing 7th and 4 qualified. CJ Leary didn't do so well. He was in the C main but couldn't transfer out of that to the B. KT Jr was also in the C, transferred to the B, but couldn't make it to the A.

Mike Mahaney ended up winning the SpeedSTR feature from 11th. (40 laps, 3,000 to win). He comes from upstate NY every week, 4 hours one way. Second was Kyle Lick. Lick bounces back and forth from a 600 micro, to the SpeedSTR, and also has run a midget before. Ryan Smith, was 3rd from about 19th. Ryan started off racing Kutztown back in the early 2000's, also ran 270 micro's, 600 micro's, midgets, 305 sprint cars, 360 sprint cars, and now he is racing with the All-Stars (3rd in points).

Jake Severn won I believe his first ever race at Kutztown in the 600 feature. Held off some strong charges by Brandon Azzalina (a young kid who can wheel the hell out of a 600), Tim Buckwalter, Billy Pauch Jr, James Morris, and I believe Windom was 6th.

I don't think I've ever seen that many people at K-town before. They definitely took advantage of the rain-out from Lincoln and also social media, as they kept asking around if any of the USAC stars if they would want to hop in a car for the night. So word got out to a few of the owners and some of them stepped to the side for the night to allow DD, Bacon, Windom, and a few others to run their car.
