Yes, we will be doing a live stream from Quincy Thursday night for Night 1 of POWRi Speed Week.

Cost: $14.99 - But of that $14.99, we are putting $5 per viewer toward the Speed Week Championship fund. We will give it to the class of your choice - either midgets or micros. If you want it to go to the midget fund, just buy the stream. If you want it to go to the micro fund, enter the coupon code 'micro' when you purchase and you'll get a 1% discount (15 cents, btw). That's the easiest way for us to keep track on race night. We will have someone from POWRi verify our numbers after the event. This is a great way for you to enjoy a race and give a little back to the racers.

Go here for more details (read them before you buy please): http://www.quincyraceways.com/powri-...ek-live-video/ Or ask any questions here. We will bump and try to monitor this thread Thursday night. Please don't purchase until Thursday after 6pm central so that we can give everything a final run through before we take your money.

Again... if you think you'll be purchasing the stream, go read the details here so you can have that out of the way.: http://www.quincyraceways.com/powri-...ek-live-video/

Don't let this keep you sitting at home on the couch if you could be at Quincy. We can't stream the smell of methanol.

If all goes well, we might try again at Jacksonville Friday - but no promises on that.

What a excellent Idea and something I've thought needed to come about for a long time in order to make some series or events worthwhile for teams tot make the long haul for with extra incentives.

Of course the outcome would be unknown beforehand.

But if a whole midget week or sprint week could be streamed for say 80 bucks and 20 goes to the tracks, 40 goes to the video peeps and 20 goes to a point fund, and 1000 people worldwide sign up, Kiwi's Aussies, west coast, Soldiers deployed etc. Thats 20g you could pay out among top five that would possibly draw west coasters, chili bowl cars etc to a outing.

Of course its my opinion and your mileage may vary. Still a neat thing to do.

We don't quite expect those kind of numbers Charles... but even if it's a hundred bucks.... it's an extra hundred bucks.

But on the other hand... if you racers want to have a $100,000 champions bonus fund this week, all you gotta do is tell 20,000 of your closest friends to tune in Thursday.
