Video of wreck between 2 UMP Super Late Model competitors - This happened Saturday, May 16th 2015.
A reminder of how dumb some racers can be and how dangerous racing is as a sport.
#27s Mike Schulte #18 Bobby Dauderman

VIDEO LINKS
Part 1: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3lhVlHiz_tE
Part 2: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IFxS6ieK_Mo

#18 Bobby Danderman is stupid for getting out of the car & maybe suspended for 2 weeks but #27s Mike Schulte should be ban for a year or life by WRG / UMP for his actions. He could have seriously hurt or killed some one.

YOUR THOUGHTS?

What this video does not tell is the history between the two. Is this the first time the 18 roughed up the 27 to past? Is this his normal mode to pass? Any other bad blood.

Getting out of one's car is one of my pet peeves for many reasons. I personally think that both drivers should get the same penalty. If the 18 stays in his car, this does not escalate like it does.

no real history between the 2 drivers! The #27 has a history of racing other drivers dirty side by side.

POSTED VIDEO PART #2 of the accident.

No excuse is good enough. Ban him for life. Suspend the guy who got out of his car for the season. I thought we had learned this lesson.

First of all...cool track! Second, typical late model fender car crap. But I'm almost certain that there is enough video evidence here to hold up in court if the guy getting out of his car was to press charges. One could argue the guy was trying to forcefully run his vehicle into the other guys with intent to do harm. Even though it's on a racetrack, he flat out tries to run him over...you can't really deny that. Not only should he be banned from racing, he could be behind bars as well.

1st off it's not just fender cars <> bone headed statement! I've seen crap like this with open wheel cars as well.

I can count on one hand how many times I've seen this in open wheel cars. Mainly because after a crash, the cars stop and can't refire on their own.

I can't even tell you how many times I've seen this with cars that have 4 fenders and doors. I'm not bone headed...I drive an open wheel car, and I would NEVER do this to anyone...ever.

It is a cool track though. Looks like it'd be fun to race on.

Like in any walk in life not every driver is the brightest bulb in the room so these things sometimes happen.

Bud you open the door. Your Typical fender Crap statement is what caught my eye . All I said is I've seen this crap happen in Open wheel cars as well. Just Because I post on the IOW forum doesn't mean I have some against fender cars (like some on here do) as that is where I come from and where my passion for racing is (Late Model & Modified) but I still like open wheel cars as well. I was trying to see what folks on here thought. That statement just sound like some sort of dis towards the teams that race those types of cars not <> NOT trying to be rude but that is how it sounded to me. That's great you have driven open wheel cars. I wish I could too. Karting was as far as I could go unfortunately I got priced right out of it. Not to bring up a sore subject but I figured about 8 months ago the Kevin Ward accident would have opened the eyes of drivers. Apparently the driver of the #27s has learned that yet.

I MIGHT BE A FENDER GUY BUT KOKOMO IS STILL THE BEST TRACK IN INDIANA.

Anyway have fun at the track this year and let's hope we don't see another accident like this one. [/B]
