I know many of the readers on this message board are Steve Kinser fans and have seen him race for a many years now, but the photo below is one pass that I will always remember. At Tri City Speedway, Illinois in 2007 "The King" made this down low pass that would take any fans breath away. The 2 is Brooke Tatnell and the 24 is Terry McCarl as most of you already know. You had to be there to believe it, and I am not over dramatizing this in any way. But sometimes you just stand there and stare in disbelief at what Steve Kinser does on the race track - one of the greatest all time open wheelers in my lifetime. :Steer
Sorry for the grainy photo quality. Have a good day...see you at the races, :thumb Midwest Connection Rich Edwards - Arnold, Missouri Journal Link: http://journals.aol.com/redw492070/midwest-connection-/ ![]() |

I apologize to aussiemidgetfan and to all readers of this post. I made a fatal reporting error.
The sprinter # 2 indeed was driven by Brooke Tatnell in this photo. Brooke Tatnell had 5th fastest time at 12.380, finished 3rd in heat 1, and started 13th and finished 8th in the feature on this nite. Joey Saldana was in sprint car # 9. I corrected the original post - 2 Brooke Tatnell vice Joey Saldana. Thanks for bringing this to my attention, sorry about that. Have a good day...see you at the races, Midwest Connection Rich Edwards - Arnold, Missouri |
