Beverly J. “Bev” Lower, 77, passed away on Monday, January 5, 2015 at Cameron Memorial Community Hospital, Angola.

She was born on October 3, 1937 in Garrett, Indiana. She married Henry “Hank” Lower on June 18, 1955.

Bev retired from EMF Corp. after 21 years. She had also been a beautician for 7 years. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

She enjoyed Sprint Car racing, NASCAR, reading books and IU Basketball. Most of all she loved spending time with her family.

She was a member of the Angola Christian Church.

Surviving are her husband Henry “Hank” Lower of Angola; son Jeffery and Janice Lower of Gary; daughter Krista Kelley of Cornelius, NC; three sisters Marilyn Nelson of Butler, Marty and Bud Mowry of Angola and Lois Douglas of Angola; five grandchildren April (Christopher) Milliman, Jerry (Jamie) Kelley, Tracey Lower, Jamie (Dale) Lower and Leslie (Adam Melson) Lower and 7 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her Mother, Mary D. Hills Beebe Shatto; her step-father Guy Shatto and two brothers Ronald Beebe and Gerald Beebe.

Services will be at 11:00 AM, Monday, January 12, 2015 at the Weicht Funeral Home, Angola with Pastor Jim Hulbert and John Coney, Minister officiating.

Visitation will be from 2-5 PM, Sunday, January 11, 2015 at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Flint Cemetery, Steuben County, Indiana.Memorials may be made in Bev’s memory to the Angola Christian Church or to Northern Lakes Nursing & Rehabilitation Center’s Alzheimer’s Unit.

Charitable donations may be made in Beverly's memory to the following organizations:

My Grandma Stapp and Uncle Jerry passed away from Alzheimer's too. Terrible disease. Rest In Peace, Bev.
