The video was very good and you get to hear the great sound of the cars but it would be better if they patched into the track PA system or at least put up graphics telling you the qualifying results and starting line ups. But all in all it beats waiting for someone at the track to post updates. I had USAC tweeter page to tell all the info. Great job Cushion but with a little effort it could be even better. Really good on large screen TV.
I had very few problems last night at all, Usually on streams I have a lot of buffering issues or other things, I noticed a couple of the cams right at start were pretty dark expecially on the TV so I tweeted them and it was cleared up real quick.
As far as qualifying and even hotlaps, There are several sources on Facebook that i get that all nearly instantly. I just keep a open tab on FB and switch when there is no action. I could hear the announcers fine last night.
I want to thank TheCushion.com for providing great coverage of the Hall of Fame Classic. It was a great consolation to be able to watch the events even though I wasn't able to travel to Arizona.
I wish tracks like Perris Auto Speedway would take note- I would most definitely be at the track if at all possible, but being that I live in Ohio, sometimes TheCushion.com is a good alternative. I can't be there, but the track still gets some money anyway. Hopefully, they will reconsider their decision, and allow a broadcast of Turkey Night. (It's like turning away free money?!) I'm sure any potential fans who live within a 100 mile radius will be at the track regardless if the race is being broadcast on the internet or not.
