I saw on Shadybowl Speedway's Facebook post the USSA sprints are racing there next season July 4 - 5. Sounds like they are branching out some.

Usac was suppose to run there about 7-10 years ago but didn't cause of safety concerns with portions of the walls..

I haven't been there in years, but I heard the new owner has upgraded things there and cleaned up the whole facility. It should be a good race there. Pavement sprints on a 3/10 mile oval...... Sounds fun!

I’m not sure about the walls…..
The USAC show was scheduled on a back-to-back after Winchester. Several cars got crashed on Winchester and couple others were not planning to go the following night. The car count was expected to be a bit low and the weather forecast was calling for rain. The race was cancelled early on the day of the event. Shady Bowl is a unique track for sure and I hope this is well supported. Thanks to the series and track for scheduling it! Brian Gerster |

I've seen 410 and 305 sprints run here several times. Should be a very good show 10 sec laps
