I know this is track is not in Indiana, but I am trying to get some cars to come and race this Friday. Spartan is really trying to keep this division going. If you are in the area, fan or driver, try to make it up. They normally run the sprint feature first or second. Also, I am not in any way with the track. Just support the NW nights when I can.

My thinking would be a track that pays sprint cars on pavement $300-$350 to start for a weekly show is not putting all the money at the top. I'd venture to say there isn't a pavement track in the country doing that. Just sayin.

With today's economy, is it possible to still run on Friday nights? Nothing against spartan speedway, but the couple times I went out there this summer, crowd was a little light. Could be deceptive because of big grand stands they have. Wonder if car counts and crowd would be better if they ran on Sunday afternoons? Anyways,my car should be ready for next year so hopefully non wing pavement racing continues next year

Regardless of all of that, it should be a good race to watch. I hope a lot of people that haven't been there before show up to watch a great race and somewhat of a unique one these days... Wingless pavement sprint cars are cool IMO.
