So why no fireworks on the fourth when you are running a big show??

This happened last year. The reason I was told was the company that has done the fireworks at LPS for years had all of their crews already scheduled at other locations on July 4th.
It seems silly to me to have a race on July 4th and not have fireworks but if there aren't crews available. What do ya do. Hire someone else and risk losing a quality sponsor or just wait to have fireworks on a different night.
It made sense to me but I'll let you judge for yourself.
