what is the difference between the HDP & Honda Midgets?

HDP Midgets are the replacement for Focus Midgets, using a sealed Honda spec motor. Focus engines are grandfathered and at this point I don't think there are any Honda engines in the series. Honda also sponsors the USAC National Midget series, but no National Midgets are currently Honda-powered either.
Got it?

Heres a idea. Use honda powered TQ's and the series would grow. But no, we gotta have our own class and maybe get 5--10 show up at any one track.

Charles, when I was still on the Left Coast the Focus Midgets replaced the USAC TQ division; TQ's were "grandfathered" until the Focus population grew, and the first year the championship was won by (you guessed it) a Honda-powered TQ.
