The first time I went to the Waynesfield Speedweek race a few years ago, first set of hot laps my jaw just dropped! 410 winged cars on that bullring was awesome! Unfortunately, work commitments will keep me away this year. All I can catch is the Saturday Eldora show.

Have fun you guys!

Yes 410 Winged Sprint cars on a 1/3 mile 24 degree banked track never lifting and circling the track in 10 seconds is just breathtaking. Time trials are neat because as a fan if you hear the driver just burp the throttle in the least way then you know he's not fast time.

These cars just flat out haul the mail on this track.

Saw a post on Pit gate stating Kevin Swindell running from Eldora on.

Ancient wise man say man who get into race for free never see bad race.

Good luck Dan and WRP crew. I know you will have a great crowd and great show.

(cough, cough) I'm already feeling terrible, by Monday (cough, cough) I'm sure I won't be able to make it in to work on time and be forced to take some sick leave

By 3:00 the gates will be locked up but if you get there earlier you are welcome to mark seats off. There really isn't a bad seat in the house. We are excited to hear someone new is coming to experience WRP. We aren't a super fancy facility nor have we ever claimed to be but we are making improvements every year to make the place a nicer experience for everyone. We do allow cooler for this show and we do not sell alcohol so carry ins- are welcome. The past two seasons this race has seen 45 cars in the All Star class alone show up. Always an exciting trip on their week.
