Would've been nice to have a little more advance notice. I might have been able to get my car ready; too much to do in 2-1/2 days, though...

If you look at the payout, it makes it look like an even quicker way to make a small fortune! Bob

Open since 1955, guess it's working for them lol. Uprights will be running for a different purse based on pit passes. Might want to call about the membership fees. I think it's only $5 extra per night for drivers, but that may not apply to guest classes.

Why doesn't the Sanctioning Body check with the track and pass that info on to interested parties?

Also, to keep up with the latest ILSS updates, go "like" the facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/IllinoisLightningSprintSeries. They post content on almost a daily basis, there is some info about the Coles County races on there too. We might be adding another open mini sprint at a different track in August, so be sure to check out the page periodically.

Sorry Andrew, I assumed you were part of the organization. In that case, thanks for spreading the word; with nothing going on in my neck of the woods until July I might have given it a shot if my ride wasn't in need of some repair. It's only a half hour further from me than my "home track", Montpelier.
On the other hand, the payout is kind of skimpy; I'd have to finish 2nd in a 14-car Feature to make what I can running 11th @ MMS with the same car count, so any trip out there would be strictly for the fun of it.
