Brownstown POWRI

Will any of the USAC guys make the trip for this show? Making my first trip to Brownstown cant wait.

Well as Chrismatlin set me straight in another thread, as I'd forgot it was part of the Powri International championship and basically the start of a three week Powri/USA IL and IN midget weeks. I believe the events will be very well attended and yeah, 50+ is possible

Probably the likes of Hagan, Hines, Abreu, Bell, Thorson, Pickens (Who's here all summer running many different series) and the Powri Gang which carries over 20 itself most times. Both shows should be stellar.

Brownstown is a fairground track, a bit sandy but puts on three and four wide racing, You pay as you enter the grounds to park, If you want a pit pass, You pay the difference at the pit gate. I never sit under the main grandstand as I don't like the poles in my view from the roof supports but there is plenty of bleachers in turn one and four.

We have had the track pretty heavy lately with a nice stuff cushion. The no way out race was pretty much the only black slick one.

Talked to Chris bell and Rico is out for this race with a collarbone issue. So unless something happens between now and then

Yeah, Rico took a nasty ride and spent a night in the hospital. I never heard how bad until now.
