 Can anyone tell me why ORP would not open the admission gates before practice starts instead of at the exact time qualifying is to start? Lots of us take our vacations for this week, thus we can go early enough to see practice. I know in years past you could go in to watch practice. I guess you need to buy a pit pass if you want to watch. Does anyone know how much pit passes will be? Thanks and happy racing to all!!!!!!!!!!:Steer

Last time the old Silver crown were there it was $50 for a pass i think..I like to stay on the pit side and then go find a place on the hill when the races start!!! There are a bunch of spots dug out on the steep side of the hill, you just have to find one the right size to fit your rump!!

I was there last year around noon and they were letting people in to the stands and pits. My Official Entry Blank states pit passes are $40 for USAC members and $50 for non-members. Back gate registration is at 11am.
