I saw on another site that Edd passed away today. I'll always remember when Edd, Bobby Marshall and Norman Martin would race at the Devil's Bowl near Dallas on Friday night, race at W.Memphis on Sat. and then drive to Haubstadt for Sunday's races, then hoof it non-stop back to Dallas afterwards. They did this for a few years in the '70's. Ray Wellnack was another driver that would do this sometimes. True racers all and my sympathy goes out to Edd's family and loved ones.
