Track was fine last night for their opening night. They took a little time to work on 2 minor rough spots and it got a little dusty toward the end, but overall good for opening night. One down side was the concessions. Extremely slow with a long line. That needs some improvement.
Racing was decent all night but the hole in turn 3 was big enough to inhale a hornet. At the end of the night 3 was so rough a hornet hit a rut and rolled a couple times. Ambulance was extremely slow to respond if they moved at all.
Brownstown has almost become a home track for us. My old truck can almost get home on it's own from there.
It is A really good fit for our cars and the track people there were great to race with. It would be nice to have a big race there for the mini sprints toward the end of the season. I guess we need to be looking for a sponsor.
