BARBERVILLE, Fla. — Feb. 14, 2014 — Brad Sweet took a thrilling win in his opening night as a touring Outlaw driver at the DIRTcar Nationals Presented by Summit Racing Equipment. Sweet battled Paul McMahan for much of the event for the second position. Tim Shaffer ran out front for much of the event, until McMahan took the lead on lap 17. Shaffer countered to take lead the next lap. McMahan surged again to lead 28 with Sweet pushing to the lead on 29 to make the pass for the win. McMahan held off a charging Kerry Madsen for the second position.
