I believe it was $700 to start $7000 to win but it went to $1000 to start at Eldora. I'm not 100% though. You can check out "Silver Crown from the beginning to today" on Fb. Lots of guys on there who can answer anything you'd want to know.

At the end of the season, when they added everything up, they figured that if they were less than 10% over their budget, they had a purty good year............. Of course, that was back in the day when the payout/expense ratio was much better and stuff wasn't nearly as expensive as now... You are always up against guys who are willing to spend ten thousand dollars to win one thousand.......

Not true, I promise u a nice piece race ready can be bought right now for 12 to 25k and if u stay within a budget u can run for under 2k a show or possibly less as you build a tire reserve and fuel reserve, im sure some will disagree but ive been to shows where i spent less and some where I spent considerably more, most always at my discretion

Don't forget the $ to register car, driver, and crew with USAC $2500 or so toward the $1,000,000 payroll!!
