We're running the SC race at DuQuoin and since the fam is staying home I'm taking my boat to do some fishing. Seems like almost all the lakes are 10hp restricted. I was looking at maybe trying Kinkaid but am open to any suggestions. I'm gonna be hunting for bass unless someone has a good crappie lake to try. I'd be happy to try a restricted HP lake if I can put a 150 on it and idle. Sometimes those are the best lakes anyways. Thanks

Have you tried the app fishing spot? Sorry that's the only help I can give.

We fish tournaments here in MO all summer and have probably tried every fishing app there is. I appreciate your suggestion, I believe I have tried that one before. I've got an app with topo maps of the Midwest but I'm probably only gonna have one day to go so I was hoping for some good referrals from my fellow fisherman cause there's quite a few lakes to choose from in that region.

A long time ago I had some decent luck at Devil's Kitchen.

There is a pretty big lake near by called Rend Lake. I have no idea whether it has fish or not, but it looks good sized.

I have had better luck at Crab Orchard than I've had at Rend Lake. I guess depends on where you are staying and when you are coming.

Carlyle Lake is a bit of a drive but some good fishing there.
