With Bloomington Speedway dark tonight due to the Monroe County Fair I had some time on my hands and compiled a little mid season Lawrenceburg Speedway trivia.
  • There have been seven Lawrenceburg Chevrolet Sprint point races to date with an average of 33.3 cars per race.

  • The highest car count was 44 cars (April 20th) and the lowest 27 (April 27th).

  • Six drivers have competed at all of the events – Drew Abel, Garrett Abrams, David Applegate, Todd Gnat, Ted Hines and Logan Hupp.

  • 89 drivers have raced at Lawrenceburg this season and 68 have at least one feature start.

  • Ted Hines and Logan Hupp are the only drivers to start every feature.

  • Ted Hines has seven top ten feature finishes in seven races.

  • There have been four different feature winners – CJ Leary (3), Joss Moffatt (2), Christopher Bell (1) and Kevin Thomas, Jr. (1).

  • Seven drivers have led laps in the feature – CJ Leary (58), Joss Moffatt (45), Kevin Thomas, Jr. (35), Christopher Bell (25), Brett Burdette (8), Dave Darland (3) and Ted Hines (1).

  • The fastest feature lap of the year was 14.145 seconds (95.440 mph) turned by CJ Leary on May 4th.

  • There have been 28 heat races with 19 different winners. Drivers with multiple wins are CJ Leary (4), Joss Moffatt (3), Gary Taylor (3), Brett Burdette (2) and Kevin Thomas, Jr. (2). Drivers with one heat win are Brady Bacon, Robert Ballou, Christopher Bell, Chad Boespflug, Tyler Courtney, Dave Darland, JR Douglas, Ted Hines, Logan Jarrett, Max McGhee, Justin Owen, Kyle Robbins, Landon Simon and Chase Stockon.

  • At this point in the season Logan Hupp is the feature hard charger with 25 passes. In the heat races Ted Hines and Brett Burdette have been the biggest movers with 21 passes each (Hupp has 20).

  • There are four point races remaining – August 3rd (BOSS), August 17th (Dick Gaines Memorial), August 31st and September 14th.

I had to read it again as it was Points Races only that she counted and thats fine. Add 34 LBurg and BOSS sprinters last night and a awesome race with three leaders.

Non Points had 40 at the USAC opener and 52 at the Sprint-week race. 37 WoO

Thanks to the Crew and Competitors. Been a Great and mostly safe season so far!

Chuck
