Tonight is the first points race of the year for Guess Anderson Motorsports and as a team we are looking to improve upon our results from the 2012 season with the STARS Midget Series. So far our year has started out with a few bumps in the road as we raced with the USAC National Midget Series last weekend at Lucas Oil Raceway for the annual Night Before the 500. After having promising results in an open test at LOR we found an issue with the motor in the car and we were forced to change to the engine that we currently run indoors. After qualifying 13th out of 22 cars, we had some issues with the cooling system in the motor and we were forced to drop out of the feature with a disappointing 17th place finish.



Upon arriving home and doing our weekly maintenance we found another issue with the motor in the car and were forced to change to the motor that is primarly in our second car that is nearing completion.



As we start the STARS season tonight we look for mother nature to hold out and let us try and defend our series Championship and look forward to a great season of midget racing!
