It was the toughest night I've had at a race track in a long time, and the Burton family has my sympathy and prayers.
I'd like to thank the safety crew at Bloomington for their professionalism in working the accident. Those people did a great job Friday , under difficult circumstances. They're a good crew, and it showed Friday.
As for the people shooting pictures through the parking lot fence Friday during the rescue effort, that was uncalled for. The situation called for respect, and unfortunately some people don't understand that. I wonder how you'd appreciate it if you were in a similar situation.

Chase Stockon, or big trouble for everyone else. Now that he will be running more then 4 or 5 times a month, but 2 or 3 times a week, he will just get better and better.
