Between Springfield Mile and I we must be the two biggest supporters of Champ Dirt Cars here. I also told everyone, more then once to go. Well I didn't.
Due to my obligations to Bloomington Speedway, I worked there Friday night. Yes I wanted to go to the Hoosier Hundred, but I couldn't. A man is only as good as his word. I gave Bloomington mine and I was there. Sorry I couldn't make the Hoosier Hundred.
Sometimes it comes down to making the hard choice and doing the right thing.
As for you that went, thanks for going and supporting the Champ Dirt Cars. I don't want to see them disappear, and without the fan's support they will.
Well I know where you are coming from Chris. When the original schedule came out, I said right away that I won't be able to make it on Thursday night due to another committment. Fast forward to the week of the race and the plans changed that I could make it Thursday night after all.
Those plans went into the dumpster when the rains came and postponed it to the formerly regular scheduled Friday night. No chance of making it on Friday so I ended up at Gas City since I was close by and wanted to see some racing.

Be nice to people on the way up. You might need them on the way down. Jimmy Durante
