Biobased USA Racing 2 Super Modifieds for 2013

Biobased will have 2 Super Modifieds for 2013 to race. We will return the Biobased USA 88, and add the 8. The 88 had a long 2012 season of struggle, but got it sorted out at the end of the season getting a 2nd at Anderson in a 100 lapper at Must See Racing. With AJ Russell in the car it showed some signs of speeds with a 4th fastest qualifying with the MSA, and a 3rd fastest with ISMA at Oswego. AJ's Team forgot to put fuel in the car for heat race and we never made the feature. We were very happy to have AJ driving our Super Modifieds and Sprint cars, but after he went back to California and he never returned phone calls. We expect him to come back and race some MSA, ISMA and MSR in 2013 for another team.

Than at mid season we switched to Jimmy McCune and after a lot of work by Dick Myers, Randy Burch, Len Fletcher, The McCunes and getting our Jim Micheals engine it started to finish races. Getting 2nd place at the Must See Racing Anderson was the best we did all season. In 2013 we made some more changes. We changed the 88 car little going back to our sprint car roots. We added Brian Gingras to drive the Kyle Edwards 11 now 8 championship car we bought after the season. Its a tried and proven car and Kyle Edwards won 2 races with it. We teamed up with Doug Edwards and Kyle Edwards. Better Preparation, Setup and Experience and having Dick Myers, Doug Edwards, Jim McCune and Paul Colloca teaming up for 3 Biobased Cars should help. Yes we plan to race MSA as well as MSR as many races as we can. We also plan to race the high miler at Sandusky. We also feel that Brian Gingras a proven driver and formerly a driver for Dick Myers can help us many ways. He and Kyle Edwards will share the driving of the 8 sprint car for us as well.

The Former Kyle Edwards 11 MSR Championship car is being wrapped today as 8, and it should be available to see and we will post that car.

We still have a complete brand new Belfab roller for sale that just needs to be completed at just $39,000.

Well that's about it for 2013 preseason report on the Biobased Teams efforts and support of Super Modified racing.

At Must See Racing (MSR) my sponsored Super Modified series is expanding. We have gone from 3 races to 7 or more as more dates are being evaluated.

With the rule changes at MSR to allow small block 410's we are going to drop in the Chevy 920 HP or the 940 55 Cam HP Mopar to see if its competitive in a SM. 2013 is shaping up for us to be a lot more fun.
