Give one of those kids a press pass to a local dirt track and hope they write a article about some of the young drivers at that track.

Do you suppose any of the young kids know there is a local dirt track anywhere near them??

I was lucky growing up as Oxford Plains Speedway was on a main road, and easily seen. I bugged my parents who were not race fans to take me there when I was a kid.Luckily my next door neighbors took me there with the cub scout troop, and after that I FOUND a way to get to the speedway every Saturday night!

Lots of times since then I have wondered what direction life would have gone, had I not lived nearby a speedway. Would I have eventually found it??

I was also lucky that back then, going to the races was cheap weekly entertainment. In my opinion, its not cheap entertainment anymore for a lot of people. I've even been pickier on what I go see during the season at times when the wallet is feeling a bit dry.
