Nice to see that they pay $100 for all non transfers to the A. Kinda surprised that they haven't had the car count that may be expected, with $1500 to win and basically $100 show up. Rudisell steps it up another notch!!!

I don't think the car counts have anything to do with Dave Rudisell. As a promotor, I just don't think you can do much more than Dave has done to accommodate both fans and racers. It's my honest opinion that it is the track itself. I believe the smaller tracks are safer, easier on the equipment and more fun to drive. The way things are now, they are pretty much flat footing non-wing sprinters around L'Burg. Another factor is location. Many of the Indiana tracks are simply closer to home for many sprint car teams. With the economy and fuel costs at the current level, it becomes more difficult for a racer to drive past one race track to get to another.
Thanks! We sent out 2000 letters last week to all the race teams explaining our upcoming season. We work very hard to provide the best racing and the best purses we can, I hope to see a lot of you all very soon. Good luck to all of you this season!
Also, we did pay $100 for all non transfers last year, we never really bang our bells too much, but here I go, we usually start all cars in feature if there is 23 or so cars, so everyone makes a min. of $225 we also only charge $25 pit passes on regular show where some charge $30 for a pit pass with a smaller purse to boot. I really appreciate all of our teams who support us and can't wait for the new season, see you all soon.

I just wish Dave Rudisell would have been given the primary role of track design back when the powers that be came up with the current track configuration. I believe one would be hard pressed to find another PROMOTER that cares as much for their fans AND racers as Mr. Rudy does. The facility is second to none; we are never worried about anything when we invite someone to attend a race at Lawrenceburg Speedway, where as at other facilities, you may be a bit concerned if these guests need to use the "facilities". (as an example) lol
It would be so nice if other area tracks could work with Lawrenceburg, Moler on Fridays and N. Vernon on Sundays, to attract more sprint cars to the region. (It don't hurt to dream!)
Get fast at the Burg and you'll be fast anywhere. At least my observation.
Love the fact that they'll run 23 cars without a consi, Something that is wear and tear on cars that have to run them.
Also love that I see lower budget less motor teams coming from 15th and beyond to top fives quite often simply because they are good drivers and setups.
Love the fact that 25 lap features aren't over in 4.5 minutes
Love the redraw where the kids can meet some drivers.
Come race at the Burg, I'll cheer for ya and I'll know you when I visit other tracks as well! (Which I do quite often)
Sorry but I like the track configuration, plenty of room less wrecks, so you spend a whole lot less money in repairs. The purse is fair, unlike other popular tracks that pay the same purse for many many positions. Don't make a whole lot of sense to me. And get alot of cars to boot and charge more for pit passes. Go to a track pay 30 have 3 4 5 or more in pits for 200 in mid pack just makes no sense. And ruin something on top of that, 200 plus for a tire 80 0r so for a nerf maybe a hundred on a basket bumper, tie rods drag links radius rods rod ends. On and on, got enough experience working on things, its about the money, as I said less wrecks. JMO lots of drivers don't like it because of the speed. Like Eldora, just as fast. as I said JMO
JEFF thanks Dave you do well in my openion
