Best rendition's for me are ;
Blackhawks when the house is rockin'.
Rev.Tim's wife or Chris Windom's sister. They just sing the song. No drama, no opera , just the song.
The Chili Bowl on the trumpet, gives me goose bumps every time.
Honorable mention from a long time ago, Kate Smith at Flyer's games singing,"God Bless America". I hated the Flyers, but not Kate.

Lee Ann Rimes. She knocks it out of the park every time she does the National Anthem. Sings it pretty straight up, but just has a smooth, beautiful voice.

Jim Cornelison has been the Anthem singer for Hawks games, for a loong time. The price of admission is worth it, just to hear hime sing the anthem. I am sure if you look him up on youtube, you will see what I am talking about.
This guy should be singing at the Super Bowl every year, instead of someone trying to sell records.
While the sound in this clip is not great, and does not do him justice, you at least will get a glimpse of what he is capable of! :

Crankin,The Anthem in the Chicago Stadium was worth the price of admission. I swear the building shook during the singing of the National Anthem. I miss the old building.
