First off, I am truly sorry how late things ran Sat. nite, I guess it was newtons law having his say so in matters: What can go wrong will, I guess we just didn't expect everything to go wrong at once.

As for what has transpired this week, here goes: The transition into turn three has been reworked, and hopefully it will be better. The lime treatment in the pits is complete, and I was impressed with the results. Alot of small ends tied up, fencing, mounds of fill here and there and for just pure looks the landscaping in the infield is near completion, shrubs around the winner circle and helipad, and sod layed. Thats right, GREEN GRASS! ( I think we need a bigger mower LOL). Hope everyone is pleased with the results. Not being biased, but the place is looking like no other!

Rudy, Mel and myself have been putting some damn serious hours in the last three weeks or so but it is well worth the effort. Trent and Tory Collins were there this evening working and discussing matters that can make things run as smoothly as possible.

The hardest thing each week for me is that Damn Section 'A' Usually about 40,000 50/50 tickets laying around, foreign matter of some sort under the seats, and all kinds of other undescribable stuff! (Just kidding guys). See ya at the races!

Yeh Dave, I really try to keep those guys (Gregg, Danny Burton, Dirtfan, racefan20, itsanonwingthing, Mud Packer, Rich H, Tim C., Ed K. and several assorted others) under control but they won't listen to an old codger like me. Why, they are so rowdy that Chuck doesn't even slow down or glance our way as he passes on his way to the top. Same with smith19. I'm gonna hang with my boys though as I still think they can be rehabbed. Must be the bleeding heart liberal in me. :O:

The hot rumor over here in central Illinois is that the 'Burg is now searching for a more mature (from my generation) woman to replace the young 50/50 ticket seller who has caused such a sensation in Section A. It seems that the young sweetie was so heart-broken by the absence of Marv Saturday night that she has entered a Convent. I expect to hear an update on Bill O'Reilly's "no spin zone" show tomorrow evening.

Steve,

A lot of women have moved on from Marv but I don't think it had anything to do with a broken heart.:O: As far as entering the convent, I will stop by and discuss this with Sister Theresa. I will see if she will let her out for another trip to the Burg as long as she is remains under my guidance.:kookoo We can't have that job going to just anyone now can we?:rolling
