The 61st Annual HARF Champions & Heroes Banquet will be this Sunday January 27th @ the American Legion Hall in Brownsburg.In. 636 E. Main St.46112 (for you g.p.s. users). Social hour begins at Noon with the buffet lunch served @ 1 pm, awards to follow lunch. Many of our award winners have confirmed that they will be there, and both of our Hall of Fame inductees will be in attendance to receive their rewards. Tickets are $20. each (or sponsor an award for $80.) & can still be ordered by calling Vicki @ (317) 487-8096 or buy them at the HARF booth at this Saturdays "Circle Track Expo" at the Fairgrounds. We had poor attendence last year, but with the HoF inductees we have this year, tickets are selling fast, so don't wait hoping to buy them at the door (even though if you do, we'll still find room for you). More big additions to our Banquet Silent Auction room, we now have 3 tail tanks, 2 midget, 1 sprint, in well used condition, a #23 Kasey Kayne "Autographed", a #9 Tracy Hines "Autographed", and a #69 Tony Stewart. $20.00 at the door for non-members? Sounds like a good deal

An afternoon of fun for all with many of our local drivers in attendance. A ton of door prizes, the Silent Auction room will be the best we've ever offered, EVERYONE who attends will receive a prize at the door! A big screen TV raffle which includes a blue ray player, and did i mention a buffet lunch catered by the Pit Stop BBQ & Grill featuring their Award winning BBQ and those delicious (zero calories) fried biscuits and apple butter. But the reason we have our Banquet is to honor our Champions and Heroes from the 2012 racing season. Many of our drivers will be there to accept their awards, and as always, a few "surprise" awards for some deserving recipients, we hope to see you there, bob.

my last nagging post about our great Banquet tomorrow. Doors open at 11 am but social hour isn't till Noon, then lunch at 1 pm, catered by the Pit Stop BBQ & Grill. Awards follow lunch. don't worry about the false claims of a winter storm coming thru, it's just what i call a "Kroger storm", when Kroger has a back load of milk & bread, they call for a big storm so people clear the shelves. The hall is ready and it will be a great day at the HARF Awards Banquet. Great food from the World's Famous Pit Stop and a day with the racers and fans.
