So sorry to hear this. Even though I didn't know George, he was a great inspiration during my grandson Andrew's battle with cancer. He was a bright light during some very dark days for me. His wisdom will not be forgotten. RIP my friend.

Be nice to people on the way up. You might need them on the way down. Jimmy Durante
I raced with Georgie back in the day. His Mom and Dad were very nice people. I believe they had a WHITE MIDGET with the Number 37 on it. The year I won the WWAR Championship they were regulars that year and I got to know them quite well. Georgie was quit a Midget driver too. We all had lots of fun back then and traveled from race to race. I remember that he was about a HALF inch shorter then me. Not too many people are shorter then me but he was and we always kidded each other about that. R.I.P. Georgie. Respectfully, Jack Calabrase
Wow! Sad day, George drove dads car back in the 90's a few times even at Paragon once. Not even sure how it all came about, I'm thinking it generated through Roy I will tear up the spelling of his last name Carrouthers.
Thanks Jerry for picking up on this note.
