Hello, I went to their website, I fail to see any difference between their bird cages, and anyone elses, they locate "under" the axle like all I've ever seen, maybe a bit more info would bring some answers that you're looking for. Bob

Ok.. An under the center birdcage design is where the torsion arm mount flag is underneath the birdcage bearing rather than offset to the inner side. I believe the Robinson Kit includes 4130 tubular arms which appeal to most because they will not flex and twist as much as the billet aluminum arm. We have never used a under the cage setup therefore cannot comment on what exactly they do..
Back in the days when people made their own birdcages it was done this way very often,(easier to make). Looks to me like this would be the case that when you had sold all the bird cages you could sell, you go back a few years and pull something out, dust it off and sell it as the new greatest thing since sliced bread.
If you have a new improved double bearing bird cage with heims joints you ain't going to get much flex. What I am waiting for is for someone to take a couple of lengths of log chain and connect it to the arms and bird cage and introduce it as the 20,000 pound test multi-directional torsion bar link and sell them for $400.00 a set.
And if you can get Kinser or Swindell to use them on their cars you will sell a million of them.

Kinda like using a brake pedal clevis joint off an international semi to connect my arms to the cages? It works pretty well, its cheap, and no binding.

Shoot dad, I didn't realize my first ERC was so ahead of the times, had log chan links on both sides.
