This is a good move. The USAC midgets have been suffering a slow death over the past few years.....this will surely speed things up and put them out of their misery. Then they can apply more effort to killing the Silver Crown Series......seems that death is moving along slowly too.

Gosh Gene, you've really had some rather "upbeat" posts of late....

With the cost of travel and the line of deep pocketed car owners USAC would be fools not to start the season out with a high cost travel event. You would never want to stay in a small area to limit travel costs like POWERI.

Florida to start the year is just crazy, USAC is just not listening to the teams!!!

Why is the 4 day Sprint Show at Bubba's track not on the USAC site? At least I didn't see it. Is this a done deal?

Is it possible this is a Focus show? I seem to recall that the Nat'l Midgets have had trouble getting full fields to IRP, never mind Florida. And, they can't count on much support from ARDC (all dirt) or NEMA (wings) as they did in the good old days.

I saw NEMA run without wings once in 2006 with the PRA Big Cars at Stafford Springs. Santos won both races and a $50K bonus for starting last in the Big Cars.

I doubt that this is a Focus show being that this track is a high banked half mile.

A little deductive reasoning would go a long way. Do you not remembe early this year? https://www.indianaopenwheel.com/sho...a+Raceway+Park
