Correct - I wasn't sure if it was a dash or redraw. This is basically the MSCS format except we redraw the top 6 in points only.
The top 14 in points plus the top two from last night should be locked into the feature with the top 8 running either a dash or re-drawing. B-main will add another 4 unless they plan to start all cars - which they very well could unless they want to send 4 cars home......not sure how they'll do it with this amount of cars.
It's all by passing points same as MSCS so a driver will gain points for passing cars but will also lose points if they fall behind in position from where they started. You can calculate the points if you have an MSCS rule book - they use the same formula. What I'm not 100% certain is if they're only doing one round of heat races tonight or two.....typically ASCS has ran a set of heat races - relined everyone up after calculating points then ran a set of qualifying races (basically another set of heats) then the top 14 from the two combined sets were used to figure the feature and b-main. I haven't heard if they're only doing one or two tonight.
The dash finished in the same lineup it started in besides thomas and larson swapped places. Doesnt sound like the track is very good right now. Hopefully it gets better

Wasn't that the complaint from last years race there as well? One lane on the bottom?
