First not sure what race you are talking about because nothing is on the schedule besides kenyon midgets on the 11th.....Second I would never take a 1000cc back to that track and was told from the promoter that 1000cc will never be back.

The AMSA lists a race at US24 on Aug 4th, but Midget18 is correct, no mention on the track Web site. If there is no race at US24 that day, you may want to consider the non-wing midget race at Montpelier as an alternative.

We are hosting our Midget divisions on July 28 and August 4 at the Montpelier Motor Speedway. We would love to have the support of any and all 1000cc+ wingless cars.

Back in the day, we raced mini-sprints there almost every Saturday with the AMSA on the little track, and it was a ball. The people up there were super nice to us and talk about a racey little joint, about 5 laps into the main it would get a big old cushon built up right up on the wall and you could hook up on that thing and fly. Moved everybody off of the pit bleachers it did. They are a bunch of nice people up there and I hope they do have the 1200cc cars back again, it is hard to get a car count when racers are running low on money for that haul and even harder to pay a purse out of the back gate with such a small car count. We would love to attend more non-wing races but I can't justify the 3.5 hour drive when there are other tracks running much closer to home.
Wish the non-wing race was still on for Moler. I bet a bunch of cars would have hung around for L-Burg if they could have raced Thu, Fri and Saturday.
