360 ASCS Development Ford wins first time against the 410's.

Big belated congratulations to Jared Horstman

We could not be more delighted to win our first time out with our new development 360 ASCS Ford. It took us about 1 year to develop an another source for a ASCS Ford and it was worth the wait. This motor gave us all we wanted in terms of off corner torque and straight away speed. We were to be able to pull the 410 off the corners and held our own on the straightaways. Now the test will with few more test races with the NRA folks and than hopefully onto the 360 Knoxville Nationals with driver Jared Horstman who has won 6 races racing in the Midwest with NRA and SOD. If Jared is unable to drive the car we will be looking for a backup driver. If this engine proves itself than we plan to sell them.

Here is our first winning results at Butler Speedway near Litchfield, Michigan with Jared.

Quincy, MI — (June 23, 2012) — Jared Hortsman flew to the Winged Sprint Car feature at Butler Motor Speedway. Matt Merrill, Aaron Shaffer, Scott Hull, and Thomas Meseraull rounded out the top five.

Wow you won at butler. A 40,000 dollar engine beat the no cash guys. Was this the same engine last year you said was a hunk of junk. Made no hp and broke after a few laps at hartford?

I have to agree don't pump your chest out too much for winning at Butler with a 360. That feet has been accomplished a few times the last few seasons by several drivers including Hortsman with his Chevy 360. Heck Mark Broughman won the championship there a couple of years ago in a Chevy ASCS 360. I heard you guys were tossing in the towel on the dirt stuff as I believe you have found it is not near as easy as tossing a bunch money at pavement sprints and running against 15-20 other guys. JMO.

Well I have raced with some of the people at that track. Know what they have-cash to spend. How many of the cars that you list as 410 were 360's? Butler is a (410) track, only one in Michigan. How many of the cars that you beat were alum block, pro build engines. If you are so proud of your 360 engine, why did you not tow the car an other hour or so and do the SOD races Friday and Sat? When USAC does 96 and Hartford next month, you going to take the wing off and teach them south of the border boys a thing or two? If it is a 410 killer, put it in a pavement car and bring it to Berlin last Sat night. By the way was good race to see.

We have to complete 2 - 360/410 Dirt cars. 4 360's, 5 410's so I guess you can say we do have
dirt equipment.

Our focus is Asphalt not dirt and Must See Racing 410 Winged Sprint Cars and our Super Modifieds
racing Must See Racing, ISMA and MSA.

We our supporting Jared Horstman now and hope the Ford 360 ASCS will be raced by Jared at Knoxville.

If Jared choses to race his Chevy - Kinsler J&J thats fine. We might chose to
find a driver and race the Spike double reverse car at 360 Knoxville Natioanls.

Our fall plan is to race Jared at the World Finals with one of our 410 Mopars designed by Guy Forbrook in
Charlotte.

Any drivers to backup for Jared Knoxville just email me.

I dont take the purses from our drivers and you can have it all.

Email us with a brief resume donwilshe@biobased.us
