A slow day for the Chevys at #IMS #IndyCar test. Only a few laps. Big tows but unstable in traffic. Hondas running more laps so far

Remember - today is a TEST day. Teams will not be trimming out and taking risks...
JR and Panther look fast, their car looks good into turn 1. Best time on my amateur stop watch so far too..
Don't forget guys - nobody is going to trim out at this test!! Too high a risk! But as someone who has raced an Indycar here, I WANT in!!!!!
So, while the top speeds don't seem to be there YET, the new car sure looks fast & sexy in motion going into turn 1!!! Sounds awesome too!!!
The cars sound great after the move back to turbos!
Indy Car CEO Randy Bernard drove out to the spectator mound about 430pm. He walked down the line, shook hands & greeted just about everyone out there. Said he was glad to see all of us there. Very cool!
I was there Wednesday afternoon. Parking lot full and they were parking cars near Gasoline Alley near turn 1. Biggest crowd I have ever seen for a test day. Grassy hill in turn two full, grandstand inside short chute into turn two full. Every age group represented, kids, teenagers, young adults and us old farts.
Cool sounding engines, cars look great and can't wait until May 12th. when they open up for practice.
