Like a lot of you have seen on here I'm going midget or Sprint racing next year. I was wondering if there are seminars, classes, books, videos, etc... out there on the maintenance of the engines and tuning and such on the injection. I'm totally new to this kind of setup coming from carbs. Would like to not be lost when I start racing. Thanks

The IMIS show next December,
Many of the larger companies have free seminars during the show, on all parts of any race car.

Another option, is saddle up with a team, and get a years worth of training, almost free, and it'll be hands on, where you can touchy feely, that's the best kind anyway, that's how most guy's get their training, just don't spend too much time in the grandstand, that'll get you on the do not call list, be there when you're needed. I had a guy that was "eager" to learn, his problem began soon after we unloaded, I was running the track side proceedure, while he comfortably watched, from a chair I provided, and his first resonse was, when they called us to hot lap was, if you need me, I'll be in the grandstand! All he wanted was a ride, and a ticket, which was what he got, one time! Bob!

"Being old, isn't half as much fun, as getting there"! Ole Robert I!

Thanks TQ. Is there not any seminars or classes I can take? Books or videos would help too.

Find someone who is knowledgeable & hire them for the 1st year to help you learn. A former driver, owner, wrench, I believe Kinsler has a book or video on injections.
