If this is Henry, I was curious what gear you have to run with a 406 or 410 at Ventura?

Thanks,
J.T.

Did anyone buy this package? I just have not heard very many be happy with the streaming from 3wide. Before I put any money down with them I want to make sure they have fixed their issues.

We bought the live stream from Ventura last night for the first time this season. It worked perfectly for us. Our internet speed is the minimum required for a smooth stream and we were a little worried that it may not be quite fast enough but it was flawless all night.

We thought the quality from Ventura was a bit better than last year which was just a bit jerky, very watchable but somewhat jerky. But, it also was free. As we said before, very smooth last night and the overall picture clarity was noticeably better than last year, but again, last year was free.

Given the overall quality of last nights broadcast I won't hesitate to buy it on the Saturday evenings that we're at home the rest of the season if all things stay the same.

Oh, and the sprint car feature? That was some great racing with Camarillo and Rutherford dukin' it out and swappin' the lead a couple of times in the later stages of the feature. Great stuff!

Silver Crown Championship Dirt Cars properly driven on a one mile dirt track are classic poetry in motion. Using that analogy, Jack Hewitt is one of the greatest poets of all time.

I've used anywhere from a 6:58 to a 6:77 at Ventura.

I have been buying them, and have had no issues at all. I thought the video quality was very good.

Thanks for the gear info, we have a couple 1/5 mile tracks back here so I was curious. I was thinking 6.30-6.40 range, but maybe we will need more I guess.
Is this Lealand?

Well I hope he is doing well! I know he had a bout with cancer several years ago. I had a lot of admiration for Lealand as a kid. He was a gasser, I love his nickname, as "The Tempe Tornado!" When I got my nickname about 8 years ago, it had special meaning because of him. He also always took plenty of time out to talk to me and get pictures, t-shirts, an autograph, or whatever! I still remember his run in with Bob Kinser at Paragon and of course when Hewitt did the 1st turn slide for life that took out both of them at the Big E!

Thanks again,
J.T. Stapp

Staggerman -

Issues were the first night at Ocala - we bombed and I own that one. The buck stops here. One key item - we were not ready for the volume of users that hit the server that night. All the other stuff - minor. We worked all night to fix that issue for Night's 2-3. We were rock solid from Ocala Thursday and then got rained out. Night three the team had their A game on. Bob, John and Dean were brilliant.

On a performance note: We did find one additional item/change that really showed in the picture quality. There are some things happening behind the scenes that we will announce shortly. These are changes that slowed us down for a couple of weeks at a critical moment; but that is the nature of a startup. We also know some of the refunds did not go out. We'll be contacting folks in the coming days.

If you were watching Ventura Saturday night the stream was really nice and the racing - WOW - Camarillo and Rutherford had me grinning ear to ear. Some of the best racing I've seen at Ventura or anywhere in the final 5 laps. I stopped at a rest stop on the 5 up near Bakersfield - logged in and watched on an Verizon Wireless Air Card. I stayed parked until the feature was over. I had no issues on a 3G connection.

And I can't say it any stronger - a race at Ventura is an event for my family. We go up early - see the Outlet Shops (mostly window shopping), visit the harbor and then to the track. If you can't be there - buy a ticket and watch online.

Big things to remember for viewing - is your internet connection capable of the stream and then is your computer capable of the stream.

PM me when you have a moment.
