I thought brownstown was a good show the last 2 years...was the change due to the water truck trying to enter the race under green?

The Promoter & his wife were not happy with USAC operations, like racing in dusty conditions & not wanting to take the time to let them water the track.

Water the track before the race and don't over pack it and there is no problem. Maybe it had to do with the idiot that drove the water truck on the track while the sprints were on the track for the heat race. I did like Brownstown, but thought the track prep was sub par. I also think Putnamville was deserving of a date.

Brownstown is not a Sprint Car track, plain and simple. Sprintweek dates should go with the best Sprint Car tracks in Indiana. Putnamville is one of them that deserved a date again. IMO, North Vernon needs to be back on the Sprintweek schedule for sure!

You can't fit all of the great tracks in Indiana in Sprint week all in one week. We have so many great tracks.

I guess that was why it was voted the best race of sprint week 2 yrs ago. Both races at Brownstown was great. An I agree NV should have got the date.

North Vernon needs a few updates to safety before USAC comes back. IMO.

Don't get me wrong, Two years running I seen great Sprint week Shows at Brownstown. However, both were very dusty and I don't think I've ever seen the water truck bolt in front of cars that had taken the green..

Twin Cities. I like Sprints there, But I've also seen cars go right through the fence on more than one occasion and a Hornet take down five post and flip out of the park. For some reason it cancelled the rest of that show. But returning later that year for HELL MONTH, It still hadn't been fixed.

I know teams wouldn't like it but isn't it a 3 one week and four the next? Four and four might get more peeps to take both weeks as I currently know many who take one or the other.

I think twin cities needs to upgrade the facility to have a event like sprintweek. I am still going to attend there later this month, but I have seen very little put into the place since I first went there. Not blaming the Fleetwoods as they don't own, they only rent.
