Sounded like it was Larson, Pickens, Smee. BC was 8th said he was fighting mechanical issues all night.

The only thing as good as the racing is the amount of people in the stands.......is it always that way?

Yes it is, thats their NASCAR(in terms of popularity) there so they get much bigger crowds than we do.

besides the good racing and fan count. i liked how when they did the 4 wide salute the crowd did the wave with the front of the field.

I wouldn't say it's "their" NASCAR at all, just some good old fashioned promotion and a family friendly environment. You can buy a few beers at the track and it's in the middle of New Zealand's largest city, that certainly helps get the fans through the gate. They also only run about 12 shows a years so all the events are worth seeing.
