That's a rather optimistic interpretation of what happened. Perhaps IU couldn't play any better, that's fine. What bothers me is that Kentucky didn't even show up. They know what to do, but there was no execution. I love my Cats now and always. I don't get upset after a well played game against a worthy opponent. This game wasn't that. My only hope is that they decide to play real ball from here on out and show what they are truly capable of.
Bottom line...........Indiana WON......Kentucky LOST..........All of the excuses in the world do not change this.........Great day for Indiana Basketball!!
I was a Kenutcky fan since I was a kid. When they hired Caliperi I was done. I am probably as Louisville fan now but it was great to see IU finally get a win. It will hopefully keep the fire in this great rivalry. I hope Louisville gets their shot in a couple of weeks.
Man it really sucks to have an overrated and underperforming UK team that beat North Carolina and Kansas and has only dropped a single game in on the road to a rival by one point. Like I told people last year, it doesn't matter how UK plays on the road because they won't be playing in road games in March.
Also I would quit watching college basketball before I became a Louisville fan.
